Update of 12th May 2023
Work carried out this week was :-
The stone fitting to the front continued with the stone panels being fitted. Now at 5th floor level.
The Knight Frank rear extension completed.
Plastered more of the walls and ceilings in the new Flats.
5th floor curved glazing now fitted. This menas the interior can be completed.
Stainless steel roof continued and now 99% complete. Water test was carried out this week.
Rendering to the rear STO insulation continued.
Work in the common parts continued with the front entrance being prepared for the stone to the walls and floor. Plastering work was carried out.
The fitting of the new Lift continued with brackets and rails fixed to walls. Most of the Lift is now on site. Car was being put together this week. Expected to be up and running in 2/3 weeks time.
Work to be carried out next week;
The good news is The start date for scaffold coming down is Monday 15th May. It will take around 4 weeks, starting with the temporary roof coming off, so we can expect all scaffold to be gone by early to mid June. Mayer are giving a date of Friday 9th June for scaffold to be gone.
The stone to the front elevation will continue to be fitted to the framing this coming week.
The ground floor sections of stone will be fitted after the scaffold has been removed.
Rear walls will continue to be rendered over the insulation.
Internal work within the new Flats will increase and to include further plastering and fitting of bathrooms. Walls will be closed and plumbing and electrics will advance.
Flat roof finishes to continue.
Lift will continue to be fitted.
Air conditioning and ventilation works will continue in the new Flats.
Stainless steel roof to the main building will continue and very final parts completed.
Work will continue in the common parts with cabling, new pipework and plasterboard being fitted. More plastering will be carried out. The ground floor parts will start.
Knight Frank are moving their furniture into the unit ready to occupy either next week or early the following week. The unit has been refitted and the work is now complete.
