Work on site this week was:-
On the 4th and 5th floors, the drylining, including sound insulation and the resilient bars have continued to be fitted.
M&E to the new apartments continuing. Bathrooms now with most first fix plumbing. Electrical first fix wiring and AV wiring being run.
Underfloor heating pipework was being run in the new Flats.
The new metal framed walls to the front exterior of the new build part was covered with cement board.
The inside of the Lift shaft was trimmed to suit the size of the new car.
Some final works were carried out to the main roof at the rear.
Th final part of the rear floor slab of the Knight Frank extension was broken out. Apologies because this was noisy work. There is very little noisy work left for the Knight Frank unit, just refitting and rebuilding the rear extension.
Work to be carried out next week;
Roof work will continue.
The flat roof areas will start to be covered.
Roof over the rear water tank will continue.

Plumbing and electrics to the new apartments to continue. This to include AV and the air conditioning ductwork.
Knight Frank fit out will continue.
The new metal outer walls to the front of the two new Flats will continue to be built.
The new stone will start to be fitted to the front. Until ealry New Year this will just be further preparation of existing, altering access etc.
Looking ahead. The stone to the front elevation will start to be fitted straight after the New Year. The stone is fixed on metal rails which are bolted to the concrete panels. There will be some noise but it is more ‘drilling’ type noise and not hammering with heavy machines type noise. Prior to Chistmas there will be further preparation work in readiness for the stone. Once the stone fitting starts it will continue rapidly up the front of the building.
The site will be closed from 23 December until Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

Just finishing the breaking out of the Knight Frank floor slab upstands. A new concrete slab is to be laid over the top of existing.
