This week has been similar to the last couple of weeks with more plumbing, more work on the ducting and more preparation work. Plywood decking has been laid as a temporary base to walk on and where the pipework and ducting is completed some sections of the finished insulation and first layer of Caberdek has been fitted.

Next week sees a big change. On Monday there is to be a delivery of steel framing and the columns to the first new floor will be fitted. There is also a delivery of the next floor of steel joists so they will also start being fitted. This is not noisy work.

The plumbing and ducting work will continue next week.

Also from Monday there will be minor demolition work to the rear of the Knight Frank retail units. This will be a bit noisy but not as bad as breaking off the concrete window surrounds!

Plywood decking laid ready for the men to start fitting steel columns from Monday.

Insulation and Caberdek fitted.

Cast iron pipework tested and ready.

Concrete to the front windows removed and ready to be trimmed and left flat to take the rails and new stone panels. New Schuco windows are to be fitted.

The glass roof and timber frame and glass wall rear extension is being demolished, starting next week.
