Final parts of the window installation making good works being carried out.
Stone repairs to the front elevation continued. This has included pinning the concrete panels back to the structural floors. Also, the concrete repair was completed and the panels are now ready for the new stone.
Bricklayers extended the Lift shaft walls and the concrete ‘roof’ over the Lift shaft was formed.
5th floor internal walls being built.
External walls to the new front and rear elevations being fitted.
The front gutter base plywood lining was fitted and the stainless steel guttering started to be fitted.
Stainless steel roof finish was fitted to the front part of the new main roof.
Work to be carried out next week;
Roof work will continue. This to include continuing to fit the stainless steel finish on the main parts of the roof.
Further making good works around the new fitted windows.
On the 4th and 5th floors, the drylining, including sound insulation and the resilient bars will continue to be fitted.
Plumbing and electrics to continue.
Knight Frank rear courtyard work will be prepared. There is to be a new rear extension to the Knight Frank unit and this is due to start next week. The first part is to break out the floor slab and then form a new slab.
Further work will be carried out in the Lift shaft ready to extend. Apologies but there will be some noise involved because some of the concrete floor has to be cut away. This is to enable the largest Lift car possible using most of the existing shaft. Next week will see the block walls continuing to be built.
The new metal outer walls to the front of the two new Flats will continue to be built.
Kitchen windows to the three front flats will be fitted.
Stone panels to the front will start to be fitted from 1st November.

Front parapet wall constructed and ready for stone exterior.

Rebuilding the Lift shaft walls to enable the largest possible Lift to be fitted.

Rear roof elevation. Super insulated.

Front part of the new roof. Stainless steel finish over insulation.

Longer view looking south of the new main roof. Roof and guttering of stainless steel. Will look stunning when completed.

Further extension and widening of the Lift shaft.
