Work carried out this week was:–

Scaffold continuing and now completed other than sections to support the demolition materials

Hoarding continuing and starting to be decorated. Name signs for the businesses to be fitted shortly.

Lift car removed.

Water tank room and Lift motor room on the roof being demolished.

Parapet walls around roof level being cut to leave flat.

Hoist completed and ready for use.

Work for next week is:-

Continuing demolition of the water tank room and Lift motor room

Roof preparation for the steel framing. The base plates will be fitted first and then the steel structures.

Demolition of the water tank enclosure

Concrete chopping machine.

Temporary protection of the front windows. Fitted so that the windows can be opened for ventilation but to prevent easy access in from the scaffold or access on to the scaffold.

Loading bay created at the front over the pathway. A requirement of the Traffic Management Plan.

Hoist now fitted and will allow material to be moved from the first floor storage to the higher levels.

Concrete breaking machine cutting through the reinforced concrete roof over the Lift motor room. Work being carried out in a professional and safe way.

Not much of the roof left!
