Olaf Court Latest News Update of 3 September 2021

Work carried out this week was pretty much more of the same, that is preparation for the main works and making the site and rear areas safe. The demolition of the enclosures to the roof boxes has been completed and most of the water tank room has also now been demolished. Satellite dishes have been moved temporarily.

More roof scanning has taken place and there has been further opening up of the roof to determine the exact build up.

Rear areas have been prepared and the welfare cabin building has started. Due to access difficulties the welfare cabins and toilets for the men (and women!) on site are being made in situ. This work will continue over the next couple of weeks and then the cabins will be ready for occupation. Temporarily the men are using flat 10 toilet facilities but that will stop shortly.
