Olaf Court Latest News Update of 4 March 2022

This week the work has been finalising the M&E & joist installation into the 4th floor transfer deck void. This has included quality control testing & inspection. The quality control process has included oversight from the RBKC building control department as well as from the project’s specialist consultants, including our M&E consultant, Structural Engineer and project Architect. This oversight has included witnessing the testing of the pipework and measuring the installation using laser level technology, in-depth visual inspections & structural assessments.

Next week the onsite building team will aim to start installing and fixing both the insulation between the joists and then laying & fixing the floorboards to the joists. The completion of this upcoming task will establish a solid ground floor to the 2 new apartments.

There will be some core holes cut in the concrete staircase next week and there will be some noise but only for a short period
