Update of 8 September 2023
Work carried out this week was :-
Work in the common parts continued with the front entrance being prepared for the stone to the walls and floor.
More tidying around the rear areas and ‘snagging’ work.
The fitting of the new Lift continued. There have been more delays and contractual issues with the Lift company but the Lift is close to be signed off for use. We do not have a fixed date for use and will continue to pressure Mayer to get the Lift sub-contractor to perform. The sub-contractor was on site for this week and ‘says’ that the Lift will have final testing next week and can then be used.
The glass screen to the new parts of the common stairs was fitted.
The inside of the new Flats continued and with second fix items being fitted. Joinery including kitchens being fitted, lighting switched on.
The chestnut boarding around the projecting roof continued being fitted this week.
Glass balustrade around the terraces was fitted.
